The number of cars in German households is rising and rising. It is therefore advisable to think about a double garage when building a new home! <\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2017, 62.2 German motor vehicles were registered at the Federal Motor Transport Authority – including 45.8 million passenger cars. With around 41 million German households, this means that on average there are almost 1.2 vehicles for every German household. In fact, the proportion is far higher for house builders: With a net income of between 3000 and 4000 euros, 44% of the corresponding households have a second car and 9% even have a third and\/or fourth car. Nevertheless, in many cases only a single garage is initially ordered as an addition to the residential property! <\/p>\n

Instead, experts recommend taking the actual number of vehicles into account from the outset when planning individual garages – especially as the available parking space in the streets in front of your own property is becoming increasingly scarce!<\/p>\n
