Restore functionality<\/strong><\/h3>\n

“Most people are primarily concerned with making their garage fully functional again after ten to twenty years of intensive use,” says Engelhardt. The majority therefore tackle the roof first. If it leaks, moisture penetrates into the brickwork. “Mould stains, mildew and a musty smell are the consequences,” says the expert. The building fabric also suffers in the long term. Sealing the roof should therefore be a top priority. ZAPF also recommends taking the opportunity to renew the roof edge design. The galvanized elements from the garage manufacturer look great and prevent the fa\u00e7ade from being soiled by dripping water. <\/p>\n

In addition to functional aspects, convenience plays an important role for renovators. “Many people treat themselves to a new garage door with remote control to make parking easier,” says Engelhardt. The premium sectional door from ZAPF with a special ventilation position is particularly popular. But fa\u00e7ade renovations, sophisticated interior systems and new doors and windows are also very popular. They give the renovated garage the finishing touch and also have a practical benefit – be it more light, more storage space or greater burglary protection. <\/p>\n

“Renovating the garage is currently a trend,” says Engelhardt, summarizing the current development. Demand has risen continuously at ZAPF GmbH in recent years. And to ensure that this remains the case in the future, the garage manufacturer is offering its new innovative products for retrofitting: Both the “ZAPF column” for charging electric vehicles as well as the ZAPF Connect digital control system and the SolarVenti\u00ae concept can be retrofitted to the garage. If the existing garage is too small or the space requirement has increased over the years, a complete replacement with a larger model is of course also possible. <\/p>\n
