What is striking is that, regardless of whether it is a prefabricated or solid house, a prefabricated garage is usually part of a new build for the younger generation. At the same time, clear demands are placed on the private garage.   <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the prefabricated garage has evolved from a compact, functional parking space to a spacious showpiece of the house, so that a solid construction house with a prefabricated garage in front of it has become a common sight in many new housing developments. &#8220;Particularly among younger house builders aged between 30 and 45, the prefabricated garage is an essential part of the property,&#8221; says Markus H\u00f6lzl, Head of Marketing at ZAPF GmbH. &#8220;They know that the large selection of models and equipment variants gives them a great opportunity to design their own individual prefabricated garage and that assembly even takes place within one day.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prefabricated garage as an alternative to a cellar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The prefabricated garage should offer plenty of space &#8211; this is one of the most important factors for many young builders. This is because new-build houses are increasingly being built without a basement and a spacious loft is also becoming rarer. &#8220;Families in particular therefore often opt for our wide or large garages or for a garage with an extension,&#8221; says H\u00f6lzl. This is because they offer sufficient space for the car and at the same time plenty of storage space and room for play equipment, bicycles and the like.   <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open gate via app<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Younger garage customers also attach great importance to appearance and technical refinements. Today&#8217;s prefabricated garages are usually equipped with a modern, electrically operated sectional door, with plaster and paint to match the home, and intelligent technology is also becoming increasingly popular in private parking garages. &#8220;With our &#8216;ZAPF Connect&#8217; smart home system, we have networked the prefabricated garage so that the door, lighting or ventilation can be controlled via a smartphone app, depending on the garage&#8217;s features,&#8221; explains H\u00f6lzl. Getting out of the car to open the door is now a thing of the past. With ZAPF&#8217;s modern technology, all you need to do is tap your smartphone.    <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ecology and sustainability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to space and parking comfort, ecological aspects also play a very important role, especially for young couples and families. &#8220;Green roofs are becoming increasingly popular, especially in densely built-up urban areas,&#8221; says H\u00f6lzl. The garage expert offers this small piece of nature on the garage roof ex works, as well as the installation of the so-called ZAPF column, an electric charging station inside the garage. Owners of e-cars or e-bikes can use this extra equipment to conveniently charge their vehicles overnight in their own garage.
