More and more people are now paying attention to their carbon footprint or actively trying to reduce it. Retrofitting a green garage roof is an interesting way to do this.<\/p>\n

Either individually or (which usually makes even more sense) as part of an overall renovation of an old garage that is due anyway.<\/p>\n

In fact, according to studies, a green roof (whether on the garage or the house) binds between 1.2 and 2.9 kg of CO\u2082 per m\u00b2 and year!<\/h2>\n

With a roof area of around 18 m\u00b2 (single garage), this is between approx. 22 and over 52 kg of CO\u2082, which a retrofitted green garage roof can offset. To put this into perspective, this corresponds to the average CO\u2082 emissions from energy generation for the annual operation of up to 2 average laptops with around 25 kg of CO\u2082 per year!<\/p>\n
