One of the benefits of buying a ZAPF prefabricated garage is the so-called “site manager service”, which ZAPF is currently the only manufacturer of prefabricated concrete garages to offer. But what is behind this term?
If you want to understand the advantage of the so-called “site manager service” when buying a ZAPF prefabricated garage, you should first know how the installation and final assembly of a prefabricated concrete garage is carried out: In fact, special vehicles, so-called KTM (crane transport assembly) vehicles, are predominantly used for this, which handle the transportation and setting down process at the same time and are operated by a specially trained specialist. This specialist places the garage precisely onto the appropriately prepared foundations using the KTM vehicle. However, the use of these special vehicles is not always possible, e.g. due to a difficult access situation, so that an additional crane is required … and a whole range of other complications can arise without careful preliminary inspection.

Site manager service: So that the garage can be erected without complications!
To prevent garage delivery and assembly complications on the agreed assembly day (with the corresponding annoying consequences!), ZAPF relies on the site manager service in the interests of the customer. At ZAPF, an experienced site manager who is specially prepared for this task always visits the planned location of the garage approx. 3 – 4 weeks before the garage assembly. This specialist (and not just the salesperson, as is the case with many other providers) then uses his extensive specialist knowledge to determine whether the garage and location are fundamentally suitable for KTM, whether the ground has been prepared correctly for installation with the KTM vehicle and, above all, whether the prefabricated garage foundations have been laid correctly, i.e. in accordance with ZAPF specifications.
