A prefabricated garage is in no way inferior to its brick-built counterpart

Anyone planning a new garage first has a choice: should it be a brick garage or a prefabricated garage? While the main argument in favor of a brick garage is the individual design options, there are several good reasons for choosing a prefabricated garage. In particular, the time and cost savings play a major role. But the garage experts at ZAPF GmbH know that a prefabricated garage is in no way inferior to its brick-built counterpart.

Little planning effort
Where should the new garage be located and roughly how big should it be? “Once you know this, you can start looking for suitable models from the prefabricated garage manufacturer,” says Markus Hölzl, Head of Marketing at ZAPF GmbH, the specialist for prefabricated concrete garages from Bayreuth in Upper Franconia. The specific dimensions, appearance and features of the new garage are then determined in a discussion with the specialist consultant. In addition to personal consultations with customers on site, ZAPF is also offering digital consultations via video due to the current situation.

Ready to go ex works
A brick garage is built brick by brick at the future location. During the construction phase, up to ten different trades and craftsmen have to be coordinated. This costs time and often nerves. A prefabricated concrete garage, on the other hand, is completely manufactured in the factory, including accessories and special equipment. The only construction work that the new owners have to do in advance are the foundations. For a prefabricated garage, strip foundations must be laid in accordance with the foundation plan. Customers receive this plan from ZAPF in advance. This allows the customer to have them built by a construction company on site, according to specifications. If desired, customers can also leave this work step in the hands of ZAPF GmbH.

Delivered to the customer’s home
Once the garage has been built, plastered and painted at the factory, it is delivered to the customer’s home. ZAPF GmbH uses special transport trucks with crane superstructures for this. This allows the garages to be placed directly on the foundations. This means that the new garage is erected within a day and can be used immediately.

Not only quick to use, but also affordable
Thanks to the optimized planning and manufacturing processes of prefabricated garages, customers can also save costs with a prefabricated garage. In particular, the highly efficient production in the factory using concrete formwork has a positive effect on the costing. And yet there is no need to forego individual design: The variety of sizes, colors and equipment variants makes it possible to tailor the prefabricated garage to the customer’s specific wishes and requirements.
