Is a prefabricated concrete garage mass-produced off-the-peg? Not at all, as the garage experts at ZAPF GmbH confirm, because nowadays a prefabricated garage can be planned individually and still remain cost-effective.
The prefabricated construction method has many advantages, it is comparatively inexpensive and the garage can be erected at the customer’s premises within one day. At ZAPF, the prefabricated concrete garage manufacturer, all garages are produced in our own factories in Germany, which guarantees the best quality, short delivery routes and fast delivery.
According to Marketing Manager Kevin Kienle, ZAPF manufactures each model individually according to customer requirements. The garage can be planned in advance using an online configurator. There are certain specifications in terms of length, width and height. This requires statics and formwork as well as manufacturing processes. On the other hand, there are numerous options in terms of size, ranging from compact single garages to large garages. The prefabricated garages start at a width of 2.75 meters. These models are also suitable for tight plots. If a spacious parking area is required, for example for SUVs and the like, or if a second car is also to be parked in the garage, ZAPF GmbH also has spacious wide garages as well as double garages and terraced garages in its range.
Thanks to the ingenious modular design, extensions for additional storage space are also possible without any problems.
Customers can put together their own garage according to their individual requirements, particularly when it comes to the equipment: From additional windows and doors, practical sectional doors and electronic accessories to e-mobility readiness (preparation for the installation of a wallbox) or smart control via a cell phone app. Plaster and color variations also offer numerous other options.
Good advice is of course part of this. The configurator first manifests the customer’s wishes, but there are many other points where the garage experts at ZAPF can give valuable tips in direct contact – which you don’t necessarily think about when you are planning your garage on the computer at home.
“Our consultants discuss all aspects of the garage project with the customer and – very importantly – get an idea of the future location of the garage directly on site.” This means that any travel problems or additional costs (e.g. for a crane) can be factored in right from the start, explains Kienle. After all, not only is every garage unique, but the conditions on site are also different. Obstacles to garage assembly, such as narrow driveways, trees, etc., can be taken into account from the outset when planning and calculating costs. “The foundations and access road are checked again by our site managers before the garage is installed to ensure that everything runs smoothly and there are no costly delays,” explains Kienle. Another important advantage: unlike when building a brick garage, with a prefabricated garage you only have one contact person who coordinates all the work. This simplifies the process considerably. This means that every customer gets exactly the garage that is perfectly tailored to their wishes and needs – and it’s not a mass-produced product.
