When we talk about mold in the garage, we know that heated garages are quite rare. The main reason for the appearance of fungal colonies in these rooms is humidity.
If there are signs of mold in the garage: dark stains on the walls, a particular smell, you need to deal with it immediately. Delaying will only make the situation worse. Depending on the time of year, the fungus can multiply at enormous speed and attack many new surfaces.
If mold has appeared in the garage, it is necessary to find the reasons for its appearance. The malfunction of the ventilation system may also be due to design faults.
Chemical agents
Once the surface and ventilation of the room have been put in order, eliminate the existing foci of fungal infection. This can be done, for example, with special chemical agents that have an antiseptic effect. First you need to dry the affected parts of the garage walls. Then take a metal brush or just a stiff brush and clean the surface.
All work should be carried out in a respirator so as not to inhale mold. Mold is harmful to health. If you use chemicals, you must not only wear a respirator, but also protective gloves.
