On Friday, April 20, ZAPF GmbH opened its new garage model park on the premises of the Dülmen garage factory. In what is now the German prefabricated garage manufacturer’s third show park, six garage models are on display, giving an impression of what is possible with prefabricated concrete garages today. Around 150 guests attended the inauguration ceremony, which was also open to external visitors.
Prefabricated garages don’t have to be square – they are also available in an oval shape. This is demonstrated by the CLOU model, with which ZAPF caused a stir years ago and won the IF Design Award. The CLOU 2.0, the successor model to the design garage with a green roof, is one of the exhibition garages in the new show park. ZAPF will also be showing the electric garage with integrated charging station. This turns the prefabricated garage into a home charging station for electric cars and e-bikes.
Another highlight is a wide-space garage with ZAPF Connect, premium sectional door with ventilation function and LED door light in the interior. ZAPF Connect is a smart home system specially designed for prefabricated garages, with which the door, ventilation and lighting can be conveniently controlled via smartphone.
“At ZAPF, we see the garage as the calling card of the house. In addition to its practical use as a sheltered parking space, we attach great importance to offering our customers as much parking convenience as possible. Innovative technology as well as design and sufficient space therefore play an important role in our products,” said Jörg Bohle, Sales Manager for North Rhine-Westphalia, who welcomed the guests at the inauguration and then led them through the show park.
Innovative technology can also be found in show garage no. 4, which is equipped with the new Solar-Venti® concept. The climate control system uses solar energy to ventilate, heat and dehumidify the garage. This leads to an improved climate inside the garage and thus helps to maintain the value of the garage. One example of a particularly spacious garage is the single garage with extension, which has a total length of nine meters. But of course ZAPF also offers basic garages with basic equipment. One of these is also on display in the Dülmen show park.
Among those present were not only ZAPF customers and partners, but also part of the ZAPF workforce and other guests from Dülmen and the region. The official part of the event was followed by a cozy finale with barbecue specialties and drinks. Visitors also had the opportunity to take a closer look at the garages and test individual functions for themselves.
Viewing and testing is still possible, as the model park is now open to the public free of charge from Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 9:30 to 16:00.
