The longest existing production facility is also the largest garage plant and is located in Weidenberg/Upper Franconia, just a few kilometers from the ZAPF headquarters in Bayreuth. The second production facility in Baar-Ebenhausen, near Ingolstadt, is also located in Bavaria – where the foundation stone for extensive extensions was laid in July of this year.
The third plant is located in Neuenburg am Rhein (Baden-Württemberg), from where more and more customers in eastern France and Switzerland are being served in addition to south-western Germany. The fourth plant, which experts now classify as one of the most modern in Europe following extensive expansion and conversion work, is located in Dülmen (North Rhine-Westphalia). From here, both the increasingly important demand market in western Germany and, to a growing extent, customers from the Benelux countries are supplied.
In total, these four plants produce around 16,000 garages per year (as of 2017).
