In the USA, the return on garage rentals is between 6 and 8 percent!

Some time ago, a US university calculated that garages and parking spaces can generate a return of between 6 and 8 percent. Whether this is also possible at this level in Germany cannot be statistically proven, as no studies have yet been carried out. The fact is, however, that the returns can be extremely interesting.

The decisive factor is the small-scale location of the garage(s). Experts recommend examining the detailed geographical structure of supply and demand on site very carefully – sometimes two streets away can determine whether a garage fetches EUR 80 or EUR 140 per month. Logical: after all, car owners prefer short walking distances to their garage. If the walking distances become longer, the income achievable on the market decreases – even if demand is relatively high.
