Electric door operator
Shoulder and back problems are widespread in Germany. As people get older, bending down to push the door open can become a problem. The remote-controlled garage door opener takes over the tedious task of opening and closing the garage. There are three different ways to control the garage door opener:
– via remote control with finger scanner
– via radio code button
– or via smartphone and the “ZAPF Connect” app.
Sectional door
Unlike the classic up-and-over door, the sectional door requires no space to open and close the garage thanks to its efficient 90° door movement.
Not only does this give you the advantage of more space in the garage itself, but you can also park the second car directly in front of the garage and still open the garage door. Parking directly in front of the garage avoids unnecessarily long distances, which can become a hazard in ice, snow or rain.
Garage door
To make using the garage more convenient, it makes sense to install a garage door. This allows individual items to be removed from the garage without having to open the entire door.
The door can be positioned in the side or rear wall of the garage, taking static requirements into account. The optimum position depends on the location of the property. In the best case scenario, the distance between the garage and the house can be significantly shortened.
Garage lighting
It has been proven that more accidents happen at dusk and in the dark. Optimal lighting is important to minimize this risk, especially for older people.
