There’s no question about it: if you want to make “more” of your garage as part of a garage modernization project, you should consider having a power supply retrofitted if there is no power available to supply electrical installations such as an electric door operator or a lighting system.
How does the electricity get into the garage?
There are various ways of retrofitting electricity to the garage. The most important factor is whether the house is close to the garage. If the house line or another line is in the immediate vicinity of the garage, the existing power connection can be used and extended to the garage relatively easily.
