Plan sufficient space for your garden tools in the garage.
It is best to attach rakes, spades, etc. to the garage wall with a bracket to save space and minimize the risk of injury. But be careful: the brackets should be attached properly so that the garage walls are not damaged.
Do not store damp soil, leaves or similar in the garage. The increased humidity in the garage can lead to stagnation or even mold growth.
Plants can certainly overwinter in the garage. However, it should be noted that some plants require additional protection.

Garage hobby tips: Cars & Motorcycles

For car and motorcycle enthusiasts, it is advisable to choose a garage with a power connection and appropriate equipment so that they can charge devices and work in the garage even in the dark.
If sensitive vehicles, such as classic cars, are to be stored in the garage, it is particularly important to ensure low humidity in the garage. An eco garage fan, for example, can help here. It ensures that moist air is transported to the outside and thus prevents corrosion.
It is advisable to plan sufficient storage space for winter or summer tires and other car parts. For extra space, large garages, wide garages or double garages are ideal.
Attention: According to legal fire protection regulations, no or only a very small amount of gasoline may be stored in small garages!

Garage hobby tips: Bicycle

The bikes are best stored on brackets on the garage wall. This saves space and there is nothing in the way.
Bicycle enthusiasts should also plan their garage a little larger so that they have enough space for bolting.
