6.00 m long, around 3.00 m wide and around 2.40 m high … these are the dimensions of around 90% of all German garages. Not because this corresponds to the space actually required, but because most garage buyers simply opt for one of the typical standard garage sizes without giving it much thought.
In fact, a longer, wider or higher garage would make much more sense in the vast majority of cases. After all, most people actually need a lot more space because their car is oversized or they want to store additional leisure or garden equipment in their garage.
