Danger zone gate entrance? A light barrier helps.

For garages with an electric garage door opener, the light barrier is an important new accessory that further increases the safety performance of this convenient equipment. This is because the light barrier ensures that the automatic door opener is stopped as soon as there is an obstacle in the area of the garage door and the door opens again automatically.
This works thanks to the light barrier‘s electronic-optical system, which immediately detects any interruption of the light beam. The transmitter and receiver of the light barrier are in constant contact via a light beam. However, if this is interrupted by a person, animal or object, the sensor registers this and stops the electrically operated garage door from opening or closing in a matter of seconds.

In order to reliably avoid any danger here, it is advisable to have a light barrier installed as a supplement to the overall system for an automatic door operator.
The light barrier also protects incoming cars
Especially for garages that are designed for more than one vehicle, it is advisable to install a light barrier. If the door closes unintentionally, the light barrier stops the electric garage door in good time before damage is caused to the expensive car.
Important for all garage owners to know: the duty to ensure road safety
