Every garage needs a stable and solid base
Before a garage can be erected, the base – in the form of a garage foundation – must first be right. However, there are a few things to consider to ensure that the private garage will later stand on a durable and secure foundation. For this reason, ZAPF produces a special foundation plan for every garage. This plan details which foundation is required for the garage of your choice.
As a rule, the foundation for the garage is also laid by ZAPF. In many regions of Germany, however, it is also possible to have the foundations laid either by yourself or by a local contractor. However, if the foundation work is carried out in-house or by an external contractor, the construction team must adhere 1:1 to the foundation plan drawn up by ZAPF. This will be sent to each customer on request with all detailed information.

With our garage configurator, you can design your garage according to your wishes in just a few clicks – from the size to the fittings.
Tip: The foundation should not be built by laymen, but only by people with the relevant experience, as practical know-how and appropriate prior knowledge are required for optimum alignment and the correct height of the foundation parts. We therefore recommend having the foundation made by the ZAPF garage professionals. This will save you expensive repairs in the end.
The site manager inspection is a special ZAPF service that ensures that the new prefabricated garage can be delivered and installed without any problems. An experienced ZAPF site manager inspects each garage site 3 to 4 weeks before the garage assembly date to ensure problem-free delivery and assembly of the new prefabricated garage.
In doing so, he checks:
