
ZAPF GmbH has successfully obtained certification under DIN EN ISO 50001:2018. This certification confirms that an independent, accredited certification body has verified the implementation and application of a systematic energy management system within the company. The certification applies to key business units as well as several locations in Germany. It underscores ZAPF GmbH’s commitment to consistently advancing energy efficiency and resource conservation.
The certification was conducted by INTECHNICA Cert GmbH and is based on a comprehensive audit. The audit confirmed that ZAPF GmbH meets the requirements of the international standard for energy management systems. The scope of the certification covers the manufacture and sale of prefabricated garages as well as central administration.
The energy management system has been implemented at the headquarters in Bayreuth as well as at the production sites in Weidenberg, Dülmen, Baar-Ebenhausen, and Neuenburg am Rhein. The goal is to transparently track energy consumption, systematically identify opportunities for savings, and continuously improve energy efficiency

The certificate is valid from December 12, 2025, through December 11, 2028
